Service Description

Who is the target audience? We deliver presentations to audiences curious about farming with purpose, including but not limited to, schools, civic groups, garden clubs, and agricultural organizations. What topics do the presentations cover? It's up to the audience, as we tailer our presentations to their interest. Below are examples of topics we can cover: What does it take to produce food and flowers responsibly, efficiently, and with care? We invite your group behind the scenes of our working farm to share how we humanely raise chickens and cultivate cut flowers with intention and purpose. We can discuss our day-to-day processes for cut flowers, from soil preparation and planting decisions to harvesting and post-harvest handling and storage. Attendees will learn how our farm systems work, how crop rotation and seasonality guide what we grow, and how careful planning helps us balance productivity with stewardship. Perhaps the group is interested in humanely raising chickens for meat or egg production. We take a close look at our egg mobiles and chicken tractor, which offer the chickens daily access to sunshine, bugs, and fresh grass. Efficient watering and feeding systems are also key for minimizing labor and maximizing gains. We discuss practical challenges farms face, the technology and tools we use, and the decisions that shape our methods. Whether your group is interested in agriculture, sustainability, food systems, small business, or rural life, these talks offer a real-world perspective grounded in hands-on experience. What sets Temecula Farms apart from others? Our goal is not just to explain what we do, but why we do it-sharing lessons learned, successes, and mistakes along the way. Attendees will leave with a better understanding of modern farming, the value of diversified operations, and how thoughtful processes can support healthy land, animals, and communities.
